Dear,
I took a risk
found it next to the newspaper stand
stuck like gum to the sides

so exhilarating to
cut and run
(here it comes)
but
(there is always a but)
I lost it

I took a risk
and lost it on the subway
under the Nike ad
next to the sleeping lady in high heels
someone else has it, I bet
what a relief
