when you’re dead
it’s all right.
for them to show your feet.
nobody wants to look at your face,
because they’ll be reminded
you were a person.
you thought and
understood things and
fell asleep and were
glorious.
when they see
your feet they know
you are dead, and that’s all.
so much loss from one person,
just you,
then again many.
and many.
look at all these shoes.
think of all those feet.
